Manning (candidate): Early learning. Caldwell offers full-day kindergarten for all families who choose it. It’s critical our youngest children learn how to function in a school setting and begin learning the basics. CSD preschool programs also provide extra support for many kids in need. 

Building student leaders. Whether it’s the Caldwell Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council or Future Hispanic Leaders of America, Everyday Leadership or TechGirlz, it’s critical to help our kids learn to be leaders and contributing members of society.
